Description:
Version 2.4 of the intel X driver has a texture corruption bug that becomes visible in at least factor. See http://factor-language.blogspot.com/2009/01/bug-in-intel-video-driver-version-24.html A later upstream version is reported to fix this. Currently, the latest release version of the driver is 2.6.0: http://intellinuxgraphics.org/2008Q4.html It depends on a newer libdrm version (>= 2.4.2) that we have (2.3.x). |

I experience this bug when scrolling in firefox and such -- not a
huge deal, but a nuisance.
Old, 2.7RC1 is in [testing].
