Description:
After each reboot, there is ~50% chance to get x server error. In case of error, there are flickering colors and whole GUI have weird hue (xserver on drugs? ;-). I can use it, but its ugly and not good for eyes... only chance to get x working properly again is reboot (x restart doesn't work). So finally when i wan't to reboot, i need to reboot two or three times to get nice X. There is no problem with hybernation/suspension. Only halting and rebooting. Additional info: * package version(s) local/xorg-server 1.5.3-4 (xorg) local/xorg-server-utils 7.4-2 local/libxxf86dga 1.0.2-1 local/libxxf86misc 1.0.1-1 local/libxxf86vm 1.0.2-1 local/xf86-input-evdev 2.1.0-1 (xorg-input-drivers) local/xf86-input-keyboard 1.3.1-1 (xorg xorg-input-drivers) local/xf86-input-mouse 1.3.0-1 (xorg xorg-input-drivers) local/xf86-input-synaptics 0.99.3-1 local/xf86-video-sis 0.10.1-1 (xorg-video-drivers) local/xf86-video-vesa 2.1.0-1 (xorg xorg-video-drivers) local/xf86dgaproto 2.0.3-1 local/xf86miscproto 0.9.2-1 local/xf86vidmodeproto 2.2.2-1 local/xorg-xinit 1.1.0-1 (xorg) * config and/or log files etc. I attached - Xorg.0.log - xorg.conf And i don't know if it's a related problem, but i saw this error message every time, when i stop the xserver (Xorg.0.log for more info...): [root@harvie-ntb ~]# /etc/rc.d/gdm stop :: Stopping GDM [BUSY] Xorg:5834 freeing invalid memtype e8000000-ea000000 Steps to reproduce: reboot computer with SiS graphical adapter and watch that weird blinky colors screen. |

bug 12365(same symptoms, but reproducible on every boot instead of every 2nd).
