Hi,

after installing gimp the file association for .pdf changed from evince to gimp for epiphany, ive changed it back in nautilus - which works for nautilus, but epiphany still uses gimp.

borschty from #gnome figured this out:

this is a mofified mimeTypes.rdf from firefox, there may be errors.
it will tell epiphany to use evince for .pdf files

epiphany uses gnome-vfs due to xulrunner/firefox using that for file associations. Nautilus operates via gio, which uses freedesktop standards to set file associations. Currently there's no UI to set gnomevfs file associations. You can use the commandline tool "xdg-mime" to set file associations for both gnome-vfs and gio.
