TeXLive package that includes context should install ruby as dependancy, since context scripts are written in Ruby. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: I'm not sure what package brings context, since I installed texlive-most. Great distro, BTW. :) |

Ruby is already given as an optional dependency.
The idea is that not all texlive users will necessarily use ConTeXT (as 95% of people still use LaTeX).
The context stuff is included in texlive-core.
Unless there are serious objections I will thus close this.
