DetailsThe pango backend in webkit is more or less obsolute[1,2] since the freetype backend contains most of the pango code. It also has various rendering problems when it comes to non-latin and downloadable fonts. So i guess it's better to not enable --with-font-backend=pango and stick with freetype.
