DetailsDescription: I have a Ham Radio transceiver which I control with a home brew application, via an RS232 connection. I also have a PhidgetServo card which I control with another libusb-based home brew application.
After a recent pacman -Syu I can no longer control these peripherals as a normal user. As root or using sudo my apps work OK. This has happened before and I fixed the problem by writing a local rule file to give the usb subsystem a GROUP="usb" attribute. This no longer works. I attach the file I made as I have limited knowledge of the udev system. Could we please arrange udev so the usb tts can have a group to which a normal user can be added? Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |
