DetailsDescription:
I have a PS/2 -> USB converter for my keyboard. When I attach to my laptop, while it's running, xorg installs it, but I can't use it, since it doesn't produce anything. When I plug in before powering on my laptop, it works. Under Vista, it works when i plug it in when the machine is running. I think it's a udev/dbus problem. dmesg: usb 5-1: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 7 usb 5-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice input: Generic USB K/B as /class/input/input18 input,hidraw0: USB HID v1.10 Keyboard [Generic USB K/B] on usb-0000:00:1d.0-1 input: Generic USB K/B as /class/input/input19 input,hidraw1: USB HID v1.10 Mouse [Generic USB K/B] on usb-0000:00:1d.0-1 Xorg.0.log: http://pastebin.com/m4c1ec018 |
