Hi,

i wish I had LVM support during the installation (FTP installation).

Is this possible for future installers to support LVM?

The LVM tools are available on the installation CD, so you can create PV's, LV's, etc... and mount them, so what's the problem?

Hi,

ok thats right I forgot this, but I mean in the ncurses part of the installer (you can create partitions, mountpoint, but no LVM), you have to switch to the terminal to create lvm.

I believe Dieter's AIF supports this. Please test his installer.

Yep, aif supports lvm and dm_crypt. And in my tests it even works ... :) See http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=58110
aif will be on the new release (which will soon arrive)
