The icon for LyX is not displayed in the applications menu in Gnome and possibly other DE's. This is due to a typo in the lyx.desktop file. That file points to an icon with a .xpm extension, while it should have the .png extension. The lyx.desktop file has the line "Icon=/usr/share/lyx/images/lyx.xpm". That should be changed to "Icon=/usr/share/lyx/images/lyx.png" to fix the problem. Additional info: * package version(s): lyx-1.6.1-1 |
