It also breaks kio_http:
n0rdik0@ranger ~ $ ldd /usr/lib/kde4/kio_http.so | grep not
libhx509.so.3 => not found
Symlinking so.4 to so.3 fixes the problem.

Excuse me, but that's not a solution and no workaround, that's just dumb. It needs a rebuild, nothing more, no symlinking, no other things.

Well, my konqueror, ktorrent, etc. now work and before the symlink it didn't. It may need a rebuild, but I wanted it to work, and reinstalling kdelibs didn't help.
I don't see the dumb part here.

Firstly, this is a different issue so should have a separate bug report. kdelibs was rebuilt against the new heimdal so check you have the latest version. And the symlinking is the dumb part... http://www.archlinux.org/static/newsletters/newsletter-2008-sep.html#contributed

Updating was the first thing I tried and it didnt work, maybe it isn't updated on the mirrors or something.
In a case buggy working with symlinking vs no working at all, I still choose the symlinking option, although I'm aware it may not work. Thanks for the link anyway.
