Venezuelan ArchLinux servers. The first one is in USA but works well, the second one is on the Main ISP Provider (Cantv) and works good with all providers in Venezuela

Mirrors links (just http):

1.- mirror.archlinux.com.ve
2.- mirror2.archlinux.com.ve

They mirror direct from ibiblio, would like to do it against the official rsync

Both mirrors are administrated by:

Angel Velasquez <angvp at archlinux dot com dot ve>

Glenn, can you tag Dan and Dale in too, they have to update pacman and the rsync list on mirror requests.

Added to web interface. I assume its already in the rsync list, can this be closed?
Comment by Dan McGee (toofishes) - Saturday, 03 January 2009, 05:16 GMT
It doesn't appear to be in the rsync list. Does the original poster want this access?

Well I'd like to sync against the official mirror and not other mirrors, then the two mirrors will be more updated..

But I don't know if I have to open another ticket or this isn't allowed because the mirror is *technically* new... you guys please said something, I am ok with the mirror on the pacman-mirrorlist and the statistics page, but rsync against archlinux.org will be much better.

Thanks anyway, you decide, just let me know if the access against rsync.archlinux.org will be allowed, to change the scripts.

Both have been granted access to rsync.archlinux.org.

Good I tried to sync mirror.archlinux.com.ve against rsync.archlinux.org and I got this:

[milliken]$ ./mirrorsync.sh
date: unrecognised option `--rfc-3339=seconds'
Try `date --help' for more information.

Pass --address=208.113.166.157 to rsync. The primary IP of the box is trying to talk to us instead of your vhost.
