memtest86+ shows (red) errors on my good RAM just in the first seconds. As pointed by upstream, memtest86+ should only be compiled with gcc4.1 or lower. Or it will behaves like this. (See here: http://forum.canardpc.com/showthread.php?t=30700 look at the "Warning") Additional info: extra/memtest86+ 2.10-1 Steps to reproduce: Install this version of memtest86+ and reboot it and run it. Then you will see the errors. Way to fix? : Compile this with gcc4.1 ? I don't really know since I don't have gcc4.1 ... |

AFAIK compiling with -O1 should fix that. When compiling this thing with -O2, optimizations are turned on that affect integer overflow expectations. We've seen the same with tzdata a while ago.
