There are 2 problems with the current hwd version when generating a xorg.conf: 1. It adds RGBPath to files section - which is not valid for the current version of the Xserver 2. It does not add "AudoAddDevices" "false" to ServerFlags which makes the xorg.conf more or less useless Greetings |

Just try X -configure. hwd is broken for a long time. Maybe we should remove it from the repo if it is not maintained anymore?

+1 for removal of hwd. I don't see reason to keep it as we have so many autodetection things in our distribution already (udev, Xorg)

I have received several mails to keep hwd. The next update (ver. 6.0) will fix bugs and new X config script.

A new version of hwd is now available in extra, which addresses both points made by the OP. Again, a big thanks to Rasat for the speedy update!
