audacity depends on redland and redland depends on raptor.

Just to be sure. Why have you forced pacman to remove raptor?

First everything was fine, i used audacity for ages. But since update to 1.3.6-1 audacity stops working and i had to install raptor. As you said raptor is indeed a dep of audacity. Possible pacman bug?

You said: "i ***forced*** pacman to reinstall redland and removed raptor"

# pacman -R raptor
Password:
checking dependencies...
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: liblrdf: requires raptor>=1.4.15-2
:: redland: requires raptor

If you want to remove raptor you have to run pacman with the "--nodeps" options; but then you are on your own.

Again: Why have you removed raptor?

ah i see what you mean, i've done this to reproduce the error. I've just tested again and now it works as expected. The question is why raptor wasn't installed after system update. It seems that this bug should be closed. Cheers Sascha
