DetailsI was trying to build the OpenCV package vom AUR:
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=1747 but got these errors at make: /usr/bin/ld: /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/4.3.2/../../../../lib/libjpeg.a(jcapimin.o): relocation R_X86_64_32 against `a local symbol' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/4.3.2/../../../../lib/libjpeg.a: could not read symbols: Bad value collect2: ld returned 1 exit status Description: pacman -Q libjpeg: libjpeg 6b-5.1 Steps to reproduce: makepkg from the PKGBUILD or download the sources and there configure and make. |
