Description:
After starting xboard, i get following error:

xboard: error while loading shared libraries: libXaw.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Recompiling this package should solve this problem.

I had the same issue (on x86_64 as with siigot) - got it to work correctly after telling yaourt (pacman can probably do this as well) to compile from sources:

brendan@watricky:~$ yaourt -Sb xboard

Random soname change, I'd guess. Adding Jan because he's awesome at this and the libxaw maintainer 8)
