Description:
I think libgcrypt should be builded wuthout --disable-static becouse some packages-for example: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=14093 don't build with it

is this the only pkg that needs the static lib?

The package in AUR can be configured to build a dynamic linked resume binary. I don't see the need of static binaries anyways, as their size becomes huge and security bugs fixed in libraries like libgcrypt are not passed into static compiled binaries.
