Details
Description: On i686, libvorbis installs three .la files.
Its PKGBUILD doesn't specify options=(libtool). I'm told
these files aren't installed on x86_64. If they're not
needed, shouldn't they be removed? If they are needed,
shouldn't the PKGBUILD specify options=(libtool...), in case
the user changes the /etc/makepkg.conf default to
!libtool?

Additional comments about closing: The .la files are removed in 1.2.1rc1-2. I pushed it into testing because I have no overview of what .la files are including this one yet.

Hmm, this was on x86_64... it's weird to see any difference between architectures, as both are built from the same PKGBUILD.
libvorbis /usr/lib/libvorbis.la
libvorbis /usr/lib/libvorbisenc.la
libvorbis /usr/lib/libvorbisfile.la
