DetailsHi, on the 2008.06 installcd in /etc/makepkg.conf the BUILDENV array contains fakeroot, but the package fakeroot is not installed.
So when you invoke makepkg it complains about this and dies. fakeroot can easily be installed by the user of course, but maybe it should come by default. |

Fakeroot is a package from base-devel. You'll also need a compiler, binutils, etc to compile things with makepkg.
