When seeking in an ASF/WMV video in Totem (gstreamer, not xine), I got the following error:
An error occurred

Running totem in a terminal shows:
** Message: Error: Internal data stream error.

I don't think this is a gstreamer specific bug. Try opening the file with mplayer and seeking in it. Your screen will become garbled and mplayer generates lots of error messages.

With this file I get the behaviour you indicated, but other ASF files seek fine in mplayer, without screen garbage and error messages.

i agree, i get "internal data stream error" with _every_ WMV i have got. the error does only appear using gstreamer, totem-xine works fine here.

Is this fixed with latest gstreamer0.10-* updates?

@JGC
Yes it is. Thanks ;)
