DetailsDescription:
After installing the erlang package erl_call can't be issued just by typing its name as is: [myav@myhost ~]$ erl_call bash: erl_call: command not found because the following symlink: /usr/erl_call -> /usr/lib/erlang/lib/erl_interface-3.5.9/bin/erl_call ...doesn't exist. erl_call is a utility that makes it possible to start and/or communicate with a distributed Erlang node. It belongs to the erlang package. Additional info: Erlang version: erlang R12B.5-1 |
This task depends upon
"/usr/erl_call" isn't the right place for erl_call, but /usr/bin/erl_call is.
Please add these too.
Thanks.
[prikrutil@myhost tmp]$ to_erl -h
Usage: to_erl [-h|-F] [pipe_name|pipe_dir/]
-h This help text.
-F Force connection even though pipe is locked by other to_erl process.
It _is_ in PATH.
What about start_erl: after reading Erlang System Principles, I'm not sure that there is a need to have corresponding symlink in bin. So just add erl_call, please =)
