Hi, in the .INSTALL file of ccsm 0.7.8-1 'update-desktop-database -q' is called on line 4. However it can happen there is no such file on a system.

I suggest the following:
- is it crucial that update-desktop-database is run? -> put desktop-file-utils in depends (that package owns the program)
- it's not a problem to not run update-desktop-database ? -> put '&>/dev/null' after the update-desktop-database call

Thanks,
Dieter

PS: I hope I filed this in the correct place. I assume community packages are in 'Packages: Unstable' ? There is no category 'community' here (In fact, the info here is totally different http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Reporting_Bug_Guidelines#Projects_and_Categories )

Community packages are in a different project, I moved it for you.

As for desktop-file-utils usage in ccsm: there's no mimetype line in the .desktop file shipped with ccsm, so the command shouldn't be run in the .install scriptlet, as it has no use.
