Mails that come over the arch announce mailing list, that are generated from Website news entries, does not include the name of the author. The name can easily be retrieved by clicking the link to the news entry, but it would be convenient to have the name included in the the mail. Additional info: - observed with the mail "[arch-announce] pkgstats: contribution was never that easy" from date Fri, 07. Nov 2008 03:01:18 +0000 - Sender of the mails is "Recent News Updates <announce@archlinux.org>" |

I have attached a very simple fix, but can not no guarantee anything ;-)
