Could you run banshee with --debug option?

Also, could you paste your terminal log?

I've opened also a bug report for banshee 1.4.0.1
Now i use banshee 1.4.0.1
With it i have the same problems.
If i play banshee without --debug it freezes.
If i play it with --debug it works.

If i play it with banshee-1 --debug >> banshee_debug , i see:

1) in terminal i see

2) in the file banshee_debug i see:

Is this fixed with latest gstreamer updates?

Still happens. I think it's a bug in mono-zeroconf that we're hitting here. When I start the avahi daemon, banshee works fine. Without, it hangs up waiting forever on something I can't trace.

I've tried to start avahi daemon , and then start banshee without --debug option but banshee freezes.

It's not true, now with banshee 1.4.1 this bug is resolved.
I don't start avahi daemon and i start banshee without --debug.

I too am having this problem. Neither the latest gstreamer nor starting avahi daemon fix the crashes for me. Banshee will only start if I use --debug

Banshee is working here. Did you tried the latest version?

I try now with banshee 1.4.1 but bug remains.
Without --debug banshee freezes.
