GNOME 2.24.1 "Shutdown" applet doesn't works When i try to use "System -> Shutdown" menu, and press keys "Shutdown Computer" or "Reboot", nothing happens, even if i entered as root. So i tried to run applet in Fedora - it works... |

The shutdown functionality in GNOME requires gdm at this moment. I'll update hal to ship with policykit policies instead of group membership crap like we have now, maybe that will fix this issue.
