DetailsDescription: Currently, in order to install telepathy-haze, all of pidgin is required as a dependency. Pidgin shouldn't be required in order to make good use of another instant messenger like empathy. It would make sense to split libpurple from the pidgin package.
Less importantly, finch is the less commonly used console ui included with pidgin. Splitting finch from the pidgin package would provide greater convenience and allow some to only install what they use. |
This task depends upon
Makefile should be patched and patch are welcome.
