There are currently three places where the mysql datadir is defined: /etc/my.cnf /etc/rc.d/mysqld /etc/conf.d/mysqld Suggestion: keep the one in /etc/my.cnf because that's the most obvious place to look. see also: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=54472 Additional info: * package version(s) mysql 5.0.68-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |
