DetailsDescription: When you install lighttpd it will not start unless /var/run/httpd is chown'd to http:http, or the lighttpd.conf file is changed to run the daemon as root.
This makes the default installation broken without a further tweak, plus when started via the rc.d script it does not even print an error message. Additional notes: There are some commands in the PKGBUILD that I assume are supposed to do this, but they are broken. Steps to reproduce: 1) Install lighttpd 2) Try to start lighttpd (either from the rc.d script, or via command line with lighttpd -f /etc/lighttpd/lighttpd.conf |

Well, I see the problem. This only occurs if fastcgi is used and lighttpd tries to store the sockect files into /var/run/lighttpd. This should be fixed with the next package. (But I am not sure if pacamn updates permissions correctly)
