FS#11801 - initcpio uses mknod, but this is explicitly removed from the klibc-extras package

When booting, I get the message /init: 123: file not found: /bin/mknod mknod is explicitly removed by the klibc-extras build script, but it is used by the initcpio init script: $ grep mknod /lib/initcpio/init echo "/bin/mknod \"${BLOCKNAME}\" b ${BLOCKDEVICE}" /bin/mknod "${BLOCKNAME}" b ${BLOCKDEVICE} >/dev/null It is also used by the filesystems hook, the encrypt hook and the lvm hook. /usr/lib/klibc/bin/mknod is owned by klibc 1.5.14-1
make sure you have the latest klibc and regenerate the image,
if you still get the same message then probably you've encountered this bug:
