Detailshi
why you copy the rules and permission file to udev.rules and udev.permissions? as it is in the package itself numbered with 50-... it would make it easier to modify udev the lists were scanned literary so if it is 50 you can add your own rules to a file 10-udev rules for example and all udev updates wouldn't touch this file just an idea but this would make udev easier to configure you only add your changes to the 10-... file and your setup is stored perhaps it would help that this is mentioned while installing it i'll upgrade the wiki soon |
This task depends upon
Just make a /etc/udev/rules.d/00-myrules or something. Since udev parses files in lexicographical order, your custom rules will supersede the default Arch ones.
it was just a thougt ;-)
now i modify the wiki and add 00-myrules as example
