I seem to get a lot of dependency errors as of late when
-Syu, but the two(or was it three) other occurences iv'e
gotten over the last 2/3 weeks iv'e just worked around by
for example forcing upgrade.
However now I got it again so maybe i should post a bug report.. Steps to reproduce: kris ~ $ sudo pacman -Syu :: Synchronizing package databases... testing is up to date compiz-fusion is up to date core is up to date extra is up to date community is up to date :: Starting full system upgrade... warning: emerald-themes-git: local (20080612-1) is newer than compiz-fusion (20080524-1) warning: wine: local (1.1.6-1) is newer than extra (1.1.5-1) resolving dependencies... error: cannot resolve "policykit-gnome>=0.9.2", a dependency of "gnome-panel" error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies) :: gnome-panel: requires policykit-gnome>=0.9.2 some more info if needed.. kris ~ $ sudo pacman -Qs policykit local/policykit 0.9-3 Hardware Abstraction Layer kris ~ $ sudo pacman -Ss policykit testing/policykit 0.9-5 Hardware Abstraction Layer kris ~ $ pacman -Qs gnome-panel local/gnome-panel 2.22.2-1 (gnome) The GNOME Panel NOTE: Hmm, i just found policykit-gnome in AUR, I don't know if this is the same as policykit.. |
