When I play large files (MPEG2-TS recordings from DVB-S >4GB) vlc skips to the beginning of the recording as soon as the file position gets above approximately 4 GB. Additionally when I drag the slider to somewhere around 5 GB in a 6 GB file it jumps to somewhere around 1 GB. It seems it is using a 32 bit pointer which is not enough for such big files. Downgrading to 0.8.6i-3 solved this here. Additional info: * package version(s) vlc 0.9.3-1 vlc 0.9.4-2 vlc-git 20081011-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |
