It is already included for some time... Have you checked out the latest images?

Oh, uh... not really, to be honest. I needed the .26 kernel so I used the FrOSCon ISO and with that I had to run 'pacman -Sy dmraid' after booting. No big deal though.

I had a look at packages.list in the archiso repo and dmraid isn't listed, that's why I assumed it would be missing on the official images.

archboot isos include it, don't know about the archiso status though

archboot 2008.12 -> dmraid 1.0.0rc15 (currently rc14 in [core] after downgrade, didn't find the reason why)
archiso 2008.06 -> no dmraid

dmraid rc15 was damn broken and unusable for most users. rc14 is the best working solotion for all right now.

2009.01 comes with dmraid 1.0.0.rc14-2
