DetailsCurrently Mozill is compiled with --enable-xft, but not --disable-freetype2. Without disabling freetype2 at compile time, Mozilla will use FreeType2 directly rather than Xft. By using Xft Mozilla picks up the settings in /etc/fonts.conf and fits in better with other apps on the system.
