Details

After having installed Archlinux on dmraid, the boot option 'quiet' does not work.
The output on my screen when using it is as follows:


:: Loading Initramfs
mknod: File Exists
No RAID sets and with names ">/dev/null"

It then shows a few parsing errors with block device names, however, the error above seems to provide enough verbosity to locate the error.

Using grub btw.
Please note that it does not matter where on the "root" line I put the option 'quiet', can be the beginning or ending.
