Description:
There are some strange (at least for me) flags for VLC. Let's look at the PKGBUILD,
http://repos.archlinux.org/viewvc.cgi/vlc/repos/extra-i686/PKGBUILD?revision=14524&view=markup line 37:

--enable-nls --enable-lirc --enable--shout \
--enable-debug --program-suffix= \

These all are flags for configure.
First, '--enable--shout'. I think it should be single dash, not double (e.g. '--enable-shout'), as ./configure --help lists this flag. Typo?
Second, do regular users really need '--enable-debug', maybe there is some obscure reason?

Additional info:
* package version(s)
vlc 0.9.4-1

* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:
http://repos.archlinux.org/viewvc.cgi/vlc/repos/extra-i686/PKGBUILD?revision=14524&view=markup
or
$ yaourt -Sb vlc # and look into PKGBUILD

  • Field changed: Percent Complete (100% → 0%)
PKGBUILD still contains '--enable-debug' while should contain '--enable-release'.

If it is intended, please explain.
