DetailsDescription:
pidgin-libnotify plugin (from the communities repo) does not install notification-daemon which is required to actually show the notification popups. When installing the package, there is no hint/clue/dependency to install notifcation-daemon (notification-daemon also depends on libsexy). Additional info: * pidgin-libnotify 0.13-3 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: install pidgin, install pidgin-libnotify, make the plugin active in pidgin. Popups do not appear. Install notification-daemon restart pidgin and popups will work. |
