DetailsDescription: After installing openoffice-base and adding the menu entries to fluxbox, I got an error stating that I did not have access rights to ~/.openoffice.org2. The reason for this is that the ~/.openoffice.org2 directory owner is root. I then ran [chown -R %user% /home/%user%/.openoffice.org2]. After changing the ownership openoffice was able to run.
Additional info: Fresh install from 2008.06 Core ISO openoffice-base 2.4.1-2 Steps to reproduce: pacman -Sy openoffice-base As user: /opt/openoffice/program/swriter Error would appear here |

there's nothing in post.install starting soffice as user root or sudo. no idea how you got that folder. a simple pacman -S openoffice-base shouldn't create anything in any users home directory.
