Description: the auth.log includes "Oct 2 12:51:30
archlinuxhost gnome-keyring-daemon[3175]: couldn't read 4
bytes from client:" every time evolution-exchange tries to
send or receive mail, or the clock applet accesses the
calender.
This is fixed by the patch in the gnome trunk. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=511285 http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/gnome-keyring/trunk/common/gkr-unix-credentials.c?view=log I have tested the patch using ABS and it solves the problem. This will get fixed as soon as gnome 2.24 enters the repositories.
It's already fixed for i686 as testing has gnome-keyring 2.24.0
already.
