Packages jre, jdk & openjdk in extra contains *.profile scripts that sets the environment variable CLASSPATH, this causes some build / configure / install / java stuff to fail. As Afc in #java-gnome expressed it: "< AfC> timtux: that's just whacked. You don't need to tell a JRE where it's core libraries are." Hey!, I might be a bit responsible for jre and jdk, though the owner of the packages is Jason Chu, add to assignees please. And for openjdk6 Andreas Radke should be added to the assignees. If Jason can't take on it I might look into it later, busy week coming on. ;-)
