DetailsDescription: New freshh clean installation from KDE4. Want take "pacman -S kde" error can't find the Installation group KDE.
Steps to reproduce: "pacman -S kdebase" and after them run pacman -S kde and all works fine. |

Did you run pacman -Sy before? Is this really reproducable? Would be a strange pacman bug otherwise.

It was a clean Install from CD. After pacman -Syu the install and config from Xorg and Catalyst etc. I reboot, and was running again pacman -Syu to see if something new. The I run "pacman -S kde" and not "pacman -Sy kde"!

I just tested pacman -S kde on a clean i686 and x86_64 install and I could not reproduce this problem. Maybe your pacman-db was corrputed for some reason? In that case try pacman -Syy. However: If it does find kdebase it should find kde, too.
