Description:

Combined bug report and feature request for the pidgin PKGBUILD. Bug: missing build dependency 'pkgconfig' (try removing it and building to verify; configure dies on GLIB). Feature: add cyrus-sasl depend/support to enable GSSAPI/SASL sign-in.

pkgconfig is in the base-devel group, you should have the whole group installed

I won't add pkgconfig to make dependencies because it is in the base-devel group. Cyrus SASL support is enabled in pidgin 2.5.3-1.
