Detailsthere have been reports of some network pcmcia cards not working with the latest pcmciautils: in one case (zaggy-nl) the interface didn't show up even though the card is active and modules were loaded. a workaround replacing 60-pcmcia.rules with the old version found in pcmciautils-014-4-i686.pkg.tar.gz was reported to work.
I found one error in 60-pcmcia.rules: the paths for pcmcia-check-broken-cis and pcmcia-socket-startup are broken. they point to /lib/udev/ while the binaries are installed to /sbin/ I can't confirm that just moving the executables to /lib/udev will fix these cards, but it is a bug. http://archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-general/2008-September/018589.html zaggy-nl in #archlinux who has a greycell gcs2220 pcmcia ethernet card. pcmciautils 15 udev 119 |

For me it works again with pcmciautils-15-2 from the testing repository.
