I can't confirm the Problem. I've testet it on two different -current systems, there aren't any problems. hdparm compiles without any errors the buildet binarys are working.

May be you're unsing some custom packages or unofficial arch sources? (libc, compiler, hdparm etc.)?

we've new hdparm and new glibc, there are still no problems on my systems, can anyone confirm the problem or close this task?
