DetailsDescription:
Videocard - radeon x1300pro 256mb. Driver sets GARTSize to 8MB by default (it's too small). Part from /var/xorg/Xorg0.log: ... (II) RADEON(0): Using 8 MB GART aperture (II) RADEON(0): Using 5 MB for GART textures ... Setting GARTSize to 64 in /etc/X11/xorg.conf solves it. |
This task depends upon
#define RADEON_DEFAULT_GART_SIZE 8 /* MB (must be 2^n and > 4MB) */
default is 8MB and should be fine, otherwise the developers didn't add that as default. If you need it bigger, you can configure it in xorg.conf like you stated in the bugreport.
