DetailsDescription: Qtiplot is crashing when I open a file created with an older version of qtiplot or using the fit wizard to create new equations or use preset equations. Fitting with the presets from the menu however works correctly. When run from a terminal the crash happens with output "qtiplot: symbol lookup error: qtiplot: undefined symbol: _ZN2mu17ParserTokenReaderD1Ev"
Additional info: * package version 0.9.7 * reported to qtiplot's developer, thinks it looks like some compatibility issue with qtiplot and qt http://developer.berlios.de/forum/message.php?msg_id=45259 Steps to reproduce: Create a plot with any data, try using fit wizard. If creating new expression will crash when saving. If using a predefined expression the crash occurs when qtiplot would calculate the fit. Opening files created with the previous version of qtiplot it crashes immediately. I attached a file that was crashing for me. |

Reason for closing: Fixed
Additional comments about closing: fixed in 0.9.7.2-1 in testing. It will move to extra when boost 1.36 moves to extra as it is a makedepend.

Rebuiliding the package from abs on my own computer fixed whatever issue there was. Still not sure what was causing the problem but at least it's working for me.

somehow this bug report never reached me untill now. I need to update qtiplot anyway to its newer version released a couple of days ago, so lets see if that will fix it (it can take a day or two, I first need to fix some build issues).
