DetailsDescription:
Since morning today (current time is: Wed Sep 3 10:59:09 UTC 2008) the abs tool have been failing with this rsync error: $ abs ==> Starting ABS sync... @ERROR: max connections (50) reached -- try again later rsync error: error starting client-server protocol (code 5) at main.c(1504) [receiver=3.0.3] Since this have been going on for several hours and I checked regularly during that time (about once every 15 minutes) I think this may in fact be a server side issue, rather than actually having that many clients at once. It seems unlikely to have that many clients *all the time* for so long. Someone should probably take a look at it and try to work out what is wrong. I'm not sure this is the right place to report this issue, but I don't know where else to report it. Nor am I sure category is correct. |
