DetailsDuplicate from http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/11368 that admins may delete.
Description: I just installed the last X.org from testing, I already used the git version from aur. After having troubles with the locale (it is quite well covered here, i just removed the evdev), I discovered a problem with the vga output. When I try to output both on my lappy screen and on the vga output, the vga output shows a centered image not showing the whole screen. Then, when i disable my lappy's screen, both screens go black :s. I tried to use the aur/xf86-video-ati-git package, it went fine once again (except the lack of DRI acceleration caused by the difference of --dri--prefix between both packages. It seems to me that it is more likely a problem with configure's parameters than code problem. Any idea ? Additional info: * testing/xf86-video-ati (6.9.0-1) Steps to reproduce: Just have to install testing/xf86-video-ati (6.9.0-1) coming with the X.org from testing |
