It's all due to versioned depends. I modified the Summary.

Will this bug be ever fixed??
Comment by Dawid Wróbel (cromo) - Friday, 12 September 2008, 10:37 GMT
Anyone, please? I can't upgrade here because of gnokii, on which kdepim depends.
Comment by Blazej (blasse) - Friday, 12 September 2008, 21:30 GMT
This is not a bug of bluez, but of gvfs package. In x86-64 testing repo there is a gvfs package which is working with new bluez.

What about those of us using testing and stuck in the "gnokii: requires bluez-libs>=3.32" > kdepim requires gnokii loop?
Comment by Lars Herrmann (lherrmann) - Sunday, 14 September 2008, 18:47 GMT
removing bluez-libs with 'pacman -Rd bluez-libs' followed by a full system upgrade solves the problem
Comment by Jan de Groot (JGC) - Sunday, 14 September 2008, 19:10 GMT
bluez is API and ABI incompatible with bluez-libs, so bluez shouldn't provide it anyways. I rebuilt gnokii, obex-data-server, openobex and gvfs for bluez 4.1.

This bug is fixed for me since yesterday. Thanks, Jan.

[2008-09-14 20:03] installed bluez (4.1-1)
[2008-09-14 20:03] upgraded gvfs (0.2.5-2 -> 0.2.5-3)

This has been fixed for me as well now. Upgrade today removed bluez-libs-3.32-1, installed bluez-4.1-1 and upgraded to gnokii-0.6.26-2. Thanks Jan.
