Description:
I use the open radeon driver and after upgrading the kernel from 2.6.25.11 X.org crashes on startup (monitor turns off and I can't switch to the VTs).
This is with a Radeon X800 Pro (R420JI)

Additional info:
I don't use xorg.conf
xf86-video-ati version is 6.8.0-4
I tried the xserver package from testing, but nothing changed.

I tried out the 2.6.26.5 kernel and I ended up with the same thing as before - unresponsive system. However, this time instead of just booting to single user mode, installing packages from cache and rebooting, I let it boot into X with 2.6.26. It works because it can't load the radeon drm module.

Where is the best place to report something like this?

Is this fixed with xorg from testing and/or the kernel26 2.6.27 package?

I have yet to try the new X server (1.5.2), but everything works now with kernel 2.6.27.
