I use the open radeon driver and after upgrading the kernel from 2.6.25.11 X.org crashes on startup (monitor turns off and I can't switch to the VTs). This is with a Radeon X800 Pro (R420JI) Additional info: I don't use xorg.conf xf86-video-ati version is 6.8.0-4 I tried the xserver package from testing, but nothing changed. Steps to reproduce: I would guess it's hardware specific... Enc: X logs (the failed one is smaller) |
